Description

I've been trying to do something else besides steampunk for a while. I've drawn fantasy, I've tried going back into techno and I've been attempting to think of some new story/comic ideas... but try as I might I think I have to get it out of my system.

This newer Steam Knight is similar in goggles, weapons, and armor. The main difference is the soldier helmet, gas-mask, and military uniform under the armor. This armor would probably be worn by Steam Queen Victoria's knights.

It's been a while since I've drawn anything that I like, let me know what you think.

You definitely have something good here, the gas mask added a few new layers of meaning to the knight.What you have here is easily a more sinister knight than your last one, and the gas mask implies that he would be wading through some pretty stinky places (such as a sewer or bog).

For your next peice, try try think of other helmets (in sci-fi, fantasy, and modern day) and think about how it would change the meaning of your peice.

My only technical crit is that I think his left hand covering his leg may be throwing off your perspecitve some. Other than that, awesome stuff :D
